Our camps are arranged according to level as well as age. New fencers are encouraged to review our levels and descriptions. Beginner level camps are held both onsite at Mid-South Fencers’ Club, and offsite at a variety of locations.
Proposed Summer 2012 Camp Schedule
June 11-15 CreationSpark! (Durham Academy) Rising 3rd – 6th graders. FULL DAY. Join us in exploring safe and various forms of self-expression, composition, and presentation through the use of drums, guitar, drama, swords, movement, and voice. Master instructors Dale Baker, Jim McConnell and Jennifer Oldham have crafted a one-of-a-kind camp that will inspire your creative sparks to fly! Registration TBA.
June 18 – 22 Beginning Fencing at Cary Academy. 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00pm
June 25 – 29 Intermediate Fencing Camp at Mid-South location. FULL DAY 9-4pm. Open to all Level II or advanced fencers rising 3rd – 9th grade. $275 Non-members, $250 Members.
June 25 – 27 Pre-National Camp at Mid-South location. Open to all fencers planning to compete at the Summer National Championship. FULL DAY 9-4pm, $150
July 16-20 Beginning Fencing at Duke School. 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00pm
July 23-27 Beginner Fencing at Mid-South location. Afternoons only 1:00-4:00, ages 8-14. $160
July 23-27 Beginning Fencing at Cary Academy. 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00pm
July 30-August 3 Beginning Fencing at Mid-South location. Morning only 9:00-12:00, ages 6-9. $160
August 6 – 10 Competitive Olympic Fencing Training Camp. FULL DAY 9-4pm. $400 non-members, $350 members
