Covid-19 Response

We are making smart preparations to support the health, safety, and well being of both our fencing community and Durham.

The fencing club has been closed for all in person classes and lessons since March 16th.  We are currently offering online courses and individual lessons to support our fencing community during this time. Read about our Zoom Best Practices here. Any new members wanting to learn about fencing and join, we are doing free online introductions to families and helping them jump online were they will feel comfortable. Email info@midsouthfencersclub.org for more information.

Summer camp programing has been modified and we are partnering with Durham Academy for much of the summer in order have adequate staffing and support working though this pandemic.

For participation in our on-site summer camp please sign and return this Waiver and Release of Liability.

Please know that we are following all information relating to Covid-19 very closely.  We are complying with all federal, state, and CDC guidelines.  The health and safety of our athletes and families is our top priority. We know that we WILL FENCE AGAIN.  Mid-South Fencers’ Club’s evolved mission is to support our local leaders and health care workers in ensuring that Durham leads the way for responding to this global pandemic.

We are extremely appreciative of the ongoing support of our members and families as we navigate each new obstacle.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at info@midsouthfencersclub.org or by phone to 919-800-7886.
