Glenn Murphy (Chief Instructor) of NC Systema has over 30 years’ experience in martial arts including Judo, Jujitsu, Aikido and Systema. He has taught law enforcement, military and security professionals throughout the USA, and has been teaching men, women and youth students in the Triangle since 2008. He is a fully certified Systema Instructor under Master Vladimir Vasiliev. Glenn teaches SYSTEMA classes (all levels, beginner through advanced) every Tues, Thurs, Fri & Sun, and private 1-1 sessions by special arrangement. E-mail him directly for more info.
Katie Rebich brings dynamic energy and to your training routine. A former Carolina fencer and now, professional circus arts performer, Katie instructs a Saturday morning a Strength and Flexibility class. Designed at heart to maximize injury prevention for competitive athletes, Katie will find your edge and push it. This class is open to the Durham community and encouraged for all competitive fencers to attend regularly. You can drop-in from 9-10am most Saturdays. $16 is the cost of one drop-in and the class is included in our competitive packages. Classes will start up again on September 8, 2018.
Aubrey Dea Zinaich will be bringing back Kundalini Yoga to Mid-South in September of 2018. Aubrey began her practice in Kundalini Yoga 4 years ago when her life became overwhelmed with moments of anxiety, depression and fatigue. She knew from her first experience with Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, that she had found her path. Aubrey’s special interests include the daily morning practice of Sadhana, mantra & sound current and Kundalini & Buddhist meditation.
Aubrey is a Durham Restaurateur & Sommelier. She enjoys spending time connecting with like-minded people in her community & working toward creating a more tolerant and open environment where all people can come together to have a voice. She believes that “Happiness is our Birthright” as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Kundalini Yoga will take place on Thursday mornings from 9am until 10:15am starting on September 6th, 2018. You can check the class schedule here!
